- Alarmhandler is not a traditional alarm service, but it assists in handling of alarms.
- Most camera vendors supply a free app that helps with basic setup of an IP camera and does live streaming. Alarmhandler has not tried to replicate this free functionality, as we believe users won’t pay for something they can get for free elsewhere. But Alarmhandler helps with setting up ftp connections, something the camera apps do not offer.
- Alarmhandler is not really a continuous recording service for IP cameras, but it is able to record and playback images and videos when events occur.
