Yes, Alarmhandler is able not only to control camera surveillance, but also send commands to an SMS alarm. Tap + on the home screen and choose “SMS Alarm” to add your alarm. If you’re lucky you can see your alarm in the autocomplete list when entering brand/model. This means the system already knows how to command the alarm and all you have to do is enter your phone number that the app should send SMSes to in order to control the alarm. Alarmhandler has a number of predefined alarms, but you may add your own type. Alarmhandler uses crowdsourcing to learn more alarm types. If several users define the same SMS alarm (same name and control codes), the alarm type becomes globally available.
